Winning starts right here!

Studies have shown, players who exhibit consistent improvement in their game, are those who work with a qualified instructor.

How and when did I learn how to play:

My passion for billiards was ignited in childhood, inspired by my father, a celebrated local player in the 1950s and 1960s. During my teenage years, my best friends & I found solace and focus in playing 8 and 9 ball on weekends, a pastime that kept us  off the streets and out of trouble. Spending countless hours playing at the YMCA and bowling alleys, my love for the game deepened over time. Billiards accompanied me throughout my years in the U.S. Navy, where I played at VFWs and American Legions, further sharpening my skills. In 2002, my game reached new heights under the guidance of 2-Time Hall of Fame Master Instructor Randy Goetlicher, whose mentorship helped me refine my technique and adopt a strategic approach that now shapes my teaching philosophy. Currently, I teach pool full-time in the Dallas-Ft Worth metroplex and strongly believe that a pool player must possess a good consistent stroke to perform well. I specialize in helping individuals analyze, develop and improve their stroke technique.

What I like about Instructing?

I plan to continue sharing the techniques and spirit of the sport with others to enhance their skills. I have played and taught in Amsterdam, Aruba, Hawaii, Iceland, Japan, Philippines, Portugal, and Thailand. I love being able to teach the student and seeing when they get that “aha” moment and they understand. I love being an ambassador for the sport of Billiards and feel that I teach that to my students.

“FOR THE LOVE OF THE GAME.”
